Pendleton Roundup - Following a July 4th celebration in 1909 consisting of bronc riding, horse races by Indians and Non-Indians, Indian feasts and war dances, greased pig contests, sack races, foot races and fireworks, some community and area leaders conceived the idea of an annual event to be known as the Pendleton Round-Up.

St Paul Rodeo - For 75 years, the St. Paul community has opened its heart and its doors to the world to join in a grand Independence Day celebration. Rodeo activities begin June 29 and continue through July 4, and in addition to rodeo performances, include a PBR bull-riding competition, a professional art show, barbecues, dancing, a parade, a fun-run, fireworks, and a carnival.
